Castle Farms Wedding | Connor and Christine
There the guests gathered in the shade of the courtyard in anticipation as Connor and Christine’s son toddled his way excitedly down the aisle to enthusiastic applause from everyone in the crowd. There, held in his dad’s arms, they watched together as the beautiful Christine was walked down the aisle by her own emotional father.
Connor and Christine’s wedding day was filled with raw emotions—from the first look, to the ceremony, to the speeches, and dances.
Set on what was probably the hottest day of the month, Connor and Christine stayed cool amidst the stone walls of Castle Farms to celebrate.

As the sun painted the tree tops with it’s golden light, Connor and Christine took the party inside the Castle with their guests. Here they dined, and danced, and laughed, and celebrated their love amongst their friends and family late into the night.

Dan + Amy Wedding | The Homestead
Restless waves and layers of heavy clouds painted the backdrop of this brisk October day. But even the rampant winds could not dampen the joy of the significance of the day—Dan and Amy’s wedding day. An intimate celebration, their forty closest —both friends and family— gathered together for their union. Dan and Amy were so full of smiles, and love, and kept each other warm through it all.

Matt + Lynden Wedding | Crystal Mountain
Matt and Lynden could not have asked for a better day for their Fall wedding at Crystal Mountain. Leaves of crimson red outlined the trees as we made our way up the ski lift for their ceremony atop the hill.
Matt and Lynden could not have asked for a better day for their Fall wedding at Crystal Mountain. Leaves of crimson red outlined the trees as we made our way up the ski lift for their ceremony atop the hill. They included their dog (who we got to know at their engagement session) in the festivities donning the sweetest floral collar. Matt and Lynden were surrounded by their people as they celebrated this momentous occasion and entered into a new season of life as husband and wife. Congratulations!

Sophia | Senior Portraits
Quiet, reserved, and thoughtful is how I would describe my sister, Sophia. She’s pretty laid back, can be found tucked in a corner with a book, listening to indie rock, or expressing herself creatively through one of her artistic endeavors. Her photos seem match this vibe: peaceful, quiet beauty amongst the flowers, the old dilapidated buildings, and the sunlight filtering through the amber autumn leaves.

Adam + Sarah Wedding | The Homestead
Adam and Sarah story is one of those classic ‘girl meets best friend’s brother’ love stories.
Adam and Sarah have one of those classic ‘girl meets best friend’s brother’ love stories. When Sarah moved up to Michigan, she met her best friend Ashley, who teasingly made a comment about Sarah falling in love with her brother, Adam. Well, in a fitting turn of events, Adam and Sarah met and had a natural spark. One thing led to another and when they eventually started dating, they just knew it was meant to be. Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Fedler—it was so special to document this part of your story!

Nick + Maddie | Engagement
For their engagement session, Nick and Maddie knew they wanted incorporate some of the reasons why they love up North. So when they invited us to Maddie’s family home on Long Lake and asked if we wanted to go for a boat ride with them, the answer was an obvious: heck ya!
For their engagement session, Nick and Maddie knew they wanted incorporate some of the reasons why they love up North. So when they invited us to Maddie’s family home on Long Lake and asked if we wanted to go for a boat ride with them, the answer was an obvious: heck ya! We cruised around the lake, taking in the view, as the late summer sun reflected hazily against the water. Later on, they showed us a few trails around the area and we spent the rest of the evening getting to know their story, laughing our butts off, and chatting about all the details for their wedding the following year.
