Adam + Sarah Wedding | The Homestead
Adam and Sarah story is one of those classic ‘girl meets best friend’s brother’ love stories.
Adam and Sarah have one of those classic ‘girl meets best friend’s brother’ love stories. When Sarah moved up to Michigan, she met her best friend Ashley, who teasingly made a comment about Sarah falling in love with her brother, Adam. Well, in a fitting turn of events, Adam and Sarah met and had a natural spark. One thing led to another and when they eventually started dating, they just knew it was meant to be. Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Fedler—it was so special to document this part of your story!

Bryan + Alexa | Cathedral Barns
Bryan and Alexa’s wedding day was a beautiful combination of warmth and whimsy. With an emphasis on nature and florals, Traverse City’s Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park set the perfect tone for their garden-party themed day. A backdrop of crawling vines and abundant blooms, Bryan and Alexa met for their first look in the walled garden.
Bryan and Alexa as a couple are just like their wedding day: warm, romantic, and full of love— not only for each other, but every single one of their guests. We met them first for their engagement session months previous, and entered into their wedding day with such eager anticipation, where we were once again blown away by their authenticity and kind-heartedness. To know them is to love them and what a JOY it is to know them.

A backdrop of crawling vines and abundant blooms, Bryan and Alexa met for their first look in the walled garden. Peeking over the edge of the wall, their closest friends and family cheered them on and the celebration began. Glasses of champagne ushered in their guests to their seats, which curved along the stone floor of their ceremony location—the Labyrinth. Emotions swelled as Alexa traipsed down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband. A promise of forever, an exchange of rings, and an exuberant shout of hurrah from their guests as they were pronounced husband and wife.
The rest of the day could have passed by in a flurry, but Bryan and Alexa made a point to slow down, take every moment in together, and connect with all of their guests. We ended the night in the stunning Cathedral Barn, documenting the most lively dance party including but not limited to: matching heart sunglasses, foam glow sticks, and limbo.
Congratulations B+A—it is an honor to know you and to celebrate you. We’ll be dreaming about your day forever & ever.

David + Alyssa | BlueBridge Wedding
David and Alyssa truly embraced what it means to have FUN at their wedding. David looked quite dapper in his navy suit while Alyssa was stunning in her beautiful lace gown. They met each other in the middle of a quaint little bridge over a small pond in front of their wedding location for their first look.
David and Alyssa got ready with their bridal party in separate areas on BlueBridge property.
David’s groomsmen helped him with his bowtie while Alyssa’s mom and bridesmaids got her into her dress and helped with the final touches.
Finally, it was time for their first look.
David looked quite dapper in his navy suit while Alyssa was stunning in her beautiful lace gown. They met each other in the middle of a quaint little bridge over a small pond in front of their wedding location. It was here that they shared private letters they had written for one another.
David and Alyssa truly embraced what it means to have FUN at their wedding. After some moody sunset portraits by the lake, they returned to their reception ready to DANCE. It was such a fun day and we loved being a part of it!

Mitch + Amber | Glen Arbor Wedding
Mitch and Amber met and fell in love with the beauty of Northern Michigan. So it was an obvious choice for them to share this special place with all of their guests on their wedding day. The Homestead Resort based in Glen Arbor was the perfect setting for their vows and we were even able to sneak off to the beach for photos with a Lake Michigan backdrop.

As we got to know Mitch and Amber leading up to their day, we found out they had a son around the same age as our daughter! Their son was such a fun addition to their wedding day and the cutest little dancer during the reception. It was a joy to be a part of Mitch and Amber’s beautiful intimate Michigan wedding and tell the story of their day through photographs.
Cheers to their sweet little family & their Northern Michigan love story!

Will + Meagan | Traverse City Wedding | The Peninsula Room
When the day arrived, it was a happy one, full to the brim of smiles and laughter and tears and various traditions they incorporated into their day. Will and Meagan were easy-going and relaxed, making everyone around them feel comfortable and loved.
My favorite thing about Meagan: Her compassion.
My favorite thing about Will: His openness and kindness. And the cappuccinos he makes me every day.
When asked their favorite things about each other, this is how Will and Meagan responded. And as we got to know them leading up to and on their wedding day, it was easy see this for ourselves. During our initial video call for all of us to ‘meet’ we quickly connected over our love of specialty coffee and were so excited chatting about the vision for their day.
When the day arrived, it was a happy one, full to the brim of smiles and laughter and tears and various traditions they incorporated into their day. Will’s goofy and fun personality shone through during their first look and dances, and Meagan showered everyone in her stunning smiles the whole day long. With a couple like them, it is no wonder how many people were there to celebrate them and their love. Being together and surrounded by their friends and families, Will and Meagan were easy-going and relaxed, making everyone around them feel comfortable and loved.
Congratulations to Will and Meagan! Thank you for trusting us to document your beautiful wedding at the Peninsula Room!

Adam + Laura Wedding | The Homestead, Glen Arbor
Anyone who knows Adam and Laura can attest to how much they both just radiate happiness. From prep all the way through to the reception, they were grinning ear to ear. It was a serene summer day in Glen Arbor on July 16th when Adam and Laura said ‘I do’.
After getting the chance to get to know Adam and Laura during not one, but TWO engagement sessions, it felt like reuniting with old friends on their wedding day. Anyone who knows Adam and Laura can attest to how much they both just radiate happiness. From prep all the way through to the reception, they were grinning ear to ear. Laura has one of those kind and beautiful smiles and laughter that is contagious—we were smiling with her all day long. And Adam is such a fun and laid back guy who adores his bride.
Their ceremony was set on the mountain top at the Homestead with a crisp blue Lake Michigan backdrop. It was a serene summer day in Glen Arbor on July 16th when Adam and Laura said ‘I do’. A day full of love, laughter, and happiness that was a joy to capture through photographs.
