Joel and Emily were married in the prime of the Northern Michigan summer season. With Blue Angel Jets flying overhead for the airshow during cherry festival, Joel and Emily got ready at their respective locations on site. The orchards of Bayview Weddings at Gallagher Farms boasted of red ripe cherries. It was here amongst the trees that Emily approached her father for their first look and again once more amongst the cherries to meet her Groom for their intimate first look and private vows. After their emotional vows, Emily got ready for another very special first look—this time with their dog, Finley. Finley also played the very important role of ring bearer and when the time approached, he raced down the ceremony aisle to Joel and Emily. They exchanged rings overlooking the stunning Lake Michigan view and eventually made their way back to the open lawn and tented reception area to continue the festivities with their friends and family.
